Our Easter celebrations started on Good Friday! And it ended on Easter Sunday. Friday, a group of us gathered for a friendly Easter egg hunt. I try to invite 1 or 2 friends for each girl. So this year, the group consisted of Mia & Camila, Kayla & Chloe, and Leanna, Sarah & Laci. And the moms, included myself, Luisa, and Melinda and James & Pat were there to do the hiding! The girls found their eggs quickly! Kayla got the egg with some $$!! And she was happy about it! And Leanna was jealous, of course...oh, well, they can't always win. After the hunt, they had cupcakes. And we followed that with a trip to McDonald's--where they had even more fun!

The next morning, we headed out to our neighborhood egg hunt, hosted by one of the surrounding churches. The neighbors hosting it happen to be the parents to one of Kayla's classmates & the parents to one of my students! They had set up a few games before the egg hunt. They had a table set up with goldfish, lemonade and water--very cute! Once they played "catch the marshmallow" game, they let kids start their egg hunt. It was so much. I could not keep up with the girls to get their pictures. They had an amazing time! Leanna even found the golden egg--she won a $10 Walmart gift card! (Which she immediately wanted to use!) Once the egg hunt was over, we headed back home!! We really enjoyed this and I hope they do it again next year!

James took this picture of us--I kinda love it!
Sunday morning, we woke up and got ready for church. Oh, Mia spent the night at grandma's house, so she didn't get to go with us. Before we left, the girls got their Easter baskets. They loved it. They wanted to eat everything and open up everything right then and there.

After church we went to mom's. We had some more fun there. Tia Elida had made some special eggs for the girls. They enjoyed cracking them on everyone! Thanks My--it was fun! And I love how you painted them!

When we got home, the girls were still so excited about finding eggs, they asked us to hide more!! Crazy girls. So we did, and they enjoyed looking for more eggs!
Happy Easter to all!

Kayla also had graduation pictures done! They came out super cute. My little graduate in her big ol' gown!

And my cute little Mia. She is so big!

Ok, I just realized that I'm missing quite a few pictures--they'll just have to be on another post!
