Trying to Catch up on the Blog...Makes me Tired!

So I have been extremely tired lately. And I get on the computer to do just the basics, which is read e-mails! But I know that I need to update this blog...so here is what has been going on with us so far...

LEANNA'S DANCE CLASS
Leanna started ballet/tap on July 8. It was a 6 session class. So this past Thursday was her last day. And she loved it. From the 1st day in class to the last in class, she enjoyed every minute of it! her teacher, Ms. Kim was a sweetheart. I admired her for having the patience to deal with 14 little girls, ages 3 -5. It was amazing to see how she worked with each of them, especially when they are all running in every direction.
Anyway, she went to Dancescape, which is 2 minutes from our house! So every Tuesday and Thursday we were there for an hour. We got to see the class through a window. This window was probably 4 feet long and 2 feet high...and there were always moms watching and taking pictures through it. Every class! It was funny to see that I was not the only proud mom !
Here are a few pictures from her class! Plies

I'm not sure if we will continue with the class, although she wants to. But at $50 a month I'm not too sure...We'll see!

BLUE BELL HERE WE COME!
We took the girls to Brenahm to go see the ice cream factory. It was a long trip, for free ice cream! But we had fun. We went on the whole tour and the girls were pretty good, considering their attention span isn't very much! But Leanna was super excited cause she thought she was going to see the Oompa Loompas (I'm sure this is spelled completely wrong!) making the ice cream. Good thing the Blue Bell employees were wearing white, cause she thought they were Oompas!

Anyway, we finally got the free ice cream and we sat to enjoy it! Here are some pictures from it!

This was a such fun outing, despite the drive back with 2 whiny girls who desperately needed a nap! They enjoyed their ice cream...and so did I!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kayla!

Wow! I cannot believe my little Kayla Bear is 2! She turned 2 on July 6. But we had her party on July 11th at the Children's Museum!

On her actual birthday, we got her a small cake and a small pinata for her and Leanna to break! It was simple and cute. She got to open a few gifts from our friends too. So her actual birthday was a simple celebration!

On Friday July 11th, we had her party scheduled from 4-6 at the Children's Museum...thanks to Joan! And I have to say, it was a great party. It felt weird that I did not have to stress about it because i really didn't have to do any work!

Anyway, we had a pretty good turn out considering it was Friday party at 4 o'clock! I'm glad that most of everyone we invited was able to make it!
So, at 4:10 the Party Guide, Steffanie, got the kids and parents in a line and she was off to start her tour! Since I didn't go from the very beginning, I had Joan take some pictures for me. I met them up towards the end of the tour. It was amazing to see the kids going from one activity to the other, in an organized chaos kind of manner! Steffanie did a great job with the kids. She kept track of them, and interacted with them. It was wonderful!

After the tour, the kids came back to the party room, where we were serving nuggets and fruit in a cup, and juice or water. They ate their food, and some came back for more! After the food we cleaned up and then got the cake out. The cake was in the form of a lollipop, since her her party theme was lollipops! The kids all sang to her and she blew out her candles like a big girl! I know the girls had a lot of fun at the party, so we hope everyone else did!

Our Family is Growing!!

It's been a while since I've really blogged...because I have been so tired! Just drained and exhausted everyday. But now we know the reason! We are expecting again! Normally the first trimester is the tiring one...and for me it has been. I only have 3 more weeks in this trimester and then hopefully I will be re-energized again. Plus, this heat surely does not help in the matter!

Anyway, we are due in February of next year. The date given to me is February 9th, 2009. Since both the girls were born at 38 weeks (instead of the 40) I'm thinking that this baby will also be born at 38 weeks. But we'll see! So far I am 9 1/2 weeks along...and already I feel huge. I eat everything in sight, all the time. So I have to be careful cause I don't want to gain too much weight!

We are all super excited. Both the girls know that mommy has a baby in her tummy,so they're gentle with me. So far I've had no weird questions about the baby being in my tummy...but I'm sure that will come later!
I will upload one of my many ultrasounds in the future...I'm too lazy to do it right now!
