Christmas time is near....

While we were on our Thanksgiving break, we took the girls to see Santa  at bass Pro.  I love going there because of all the fun-ness there is!  The girls absolutely LOVE this place.  There is so much to see and do...yes, at a Fishing & Hunting store.  Anyway, we got there and they made an ornament.  Then they wrote a letter to Santa.  They played with the train set up and the race trucks,and the other set ups they have.  Finally we made it to see Santa.  It was so easy with the girls.  Mia ran straight to him and sat on him.  Who knows what she told him she wanted.  Kayla went up next.  I loved how Santa, said very loudly, "Oh you want a Polly Pocket Jet?  Ok!"  Then Leanna went up there.  And she sat there for a while.  Her list must have been extra long!  Anyway, here are some of the pictures while we were at Bass Pro.

All About Mia

Fun Facts about Mia:

She is almost 3--Jan 21

She is fully potty trained--even at night. Even with number 2!

She is Mrs. Independent..She wants to do everything on her own, she wants to play with big girl toys (the ones ages 5+), and she does not want your help--ever!

She is in preschool, 2 days a week, with other 2 yr olds. But she could totally survive the 3 yr old class. (She was with 3s for a week in Sept--the teacher said she did very well!)

She can count to ten in English and Spanish--physically count, not just memorized count!

She can name most shapes. And name most colors--sometimes...Colors is just not her strong subject ok?!

She weighs 29 1/2 lbs. I think she will be our "big" girl. She wears a size 7 shoe! Kayla just got out of 8!!

She says the cutest (mispronounced) words; munsturd (monster), Sebastinan (Sebastian), Auriel (Ariel), Sleeping Judy (Sleeping Beauty), babybug (ladybug), Blookyn (Brooklyn), parajitos (pajaritos in Spanish). And if you ask her what her mommy's name is, she'll say "Mrs. Ana" <3 She makes me smile :-)

And here she is...little Pat.

St. Andrew's Pumpkin Patch & Dewberry Farm

I apologize in advance--my blog is out of order--because I've been out of order!! Well, here are some pictures of our October fun...

Pumpkin picture time!! We normally go to St. Andrews in Pearland that has a great pumpkin patch every year. It was a last minute decision to go..and I'm glad we did. Some of the pictures have a weird coloring--I didn't realize the camera was on the ISO setting and also the sun was setting. But we got some cute pictures..Enjoy!
~~~ Our annual Dewberry Farm trip almost didn't happen this year either! The Sunday that we had planned to go, Houston got a really bad storm that came through. It hadn't rained in months...and on the day we decide to go, it pours down--all day!! So we attempted to go again. And this time the weather was perfect. It actually got pretty warm once we were there for a while. But we all managed to have a great time. This year, we took my daddy with us. It was super sweet to have mom and dad enjoy this little trip with the girls. I would glance over at dad and I could see that he was getting tired, but he was so happy. He pulled the wagon, he rode the train, he walked the corn maze, and he was loving life with his grandbabies!! Mom always loves to do thing s with the girls. I was happy to see her enjoying being there, checking out the pumpkins, trying to "borrow" corn, and having fun with Pat, James, Sylvia and myself! It was a good trip. I really hope to make it a tradition. And I always want to include my parents. it is time for them to enjoy themselves.
We did so much this year while we were there. But we didn't pick flowers!!! We ALWAYS pick flowers. But since Texas had no rain all summer long, the flowers weren't so big and the corn maze wasn't very tall. But we did see the Christmas trees flourishing! We don't use a real tree for Christmas. But if we did, we would totally go there to cut our tree. (maybe)
As usual we were all wiped on the way home. We ate too much, walked a lot, and had too much fun! I can't wait to do it again next year!
Thank you Dewberry Farm, for a fun time with my family and my friends!!
