Christmas Parties and Programs

This time of year is so busy!  But fun!  Between the 3 girls, we had 3 parties, one program, and one educational/fun event.  Mia's class was part of the 3 year old Christmas program.  And it was really cute.  2 and 3 year olds on stage are ADORABLE!!!!  Mia makes one cute little elf!

Kayla had her Kindergarten party on Thursday at 9...and I got to attend!  It would have been sad if I didn't go.  But I made it.  Her class is pretty big--23 kids!!  We made Santa Grahams--super cute idea.  They played Hot Potato but instead it was Pass the Reindeer!  Cute game.  They got to look in their goody bags of penny gifts1  They got to make reindeer food.  And they each got a bag of doughnut holes ...to themselves!!!  I felt bad for their teacher--that is a lot of sugar...and they had 5 more hours before school let out!

I didn't get to go to Leanna's party.  But Pat did.  He didn't take very many pictures.  So, here are a few from her  class party. Her class did a book exchange.  And they also played a few games.  And of course they had some yummy food!  Mia is a lucky girl!  She gets to go to her own class's party, plus her sisters parties--and she loves it.  She loves the fact that she gets to eat cookies and yummy stuff at their parties!

Happy New Year!

Well, 2011 was a great year---I cannot wait for 2012!!

Christmas time is near....

While we were on our Thanksgiving break, we took the girls to see Santa  at bass Pro.  I love going there because of all the fun-ness there is!  The girls absolutely LOVE this place.  There is so much to see and do...yes, at a Fishing & Hunting store.  Anyway, we got there and they made an ornament.  Then they wrote a letter to Santa.  They played with the train set up and the race trucks, and the other set ups they have.  Finally we made it to see Santa.  It was so easy with the girls.  Mia ran straight to him and sat on him.  Who knows what she told him she wanted.  Kayla went up next.  I loved how Santa, said very loudly, "Oh you want a Polly Pocket Jet?  Ok!"  Then Leanna went up there.  And she sat there for a while.  Her list must have been extra long!  Anyway, here are some of the pictures while we were at Bass Pro.

Thanksgiving Tues-Thurs-Fri

This year we decided to have another pre Thanksgiving dinner with a few friends.  It was smaller than usual because we decided to do it a week before!  But the few that were here, had a good time!  The fried turkey was good, the sides were delicious, the desserts were great, the drinks were awesome and the people were AMAZING!  And look at all these cute girls! Could they be any cuter?!?
Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving at moms was the usual..All the kids and their kids!   It's amazing that  our family keeps getting bigger and bigger!  I love it!    We had a pretty laid back Thanksgiving at her house.  We sat around, ate, talked, and best of all--played with the babies!  Brooklyn is now 8 months, and Averie is 6 months, I believe.  They are both happy girls.  And of course, the girls and Siena, could not get enough of them both!  We also did our usual family photo.  I am not sure how many years I will be able to take this picture.  My brothers really HATE taking this picture.  But it's their choice to be in it!  So this picture has everyone except for Omar & Juan (but Juan was at home sick--so he couldn't be in it).  Look at how big our family is getting!   Here are the big cousins playing outside.
Even Macy was in the picture!  Good girl.  We miss our Penny and she would have been in the picture too!
The grand kids and Averie, the great grand daughter!

Daddy and his great grand daughter Averie.  This is the first great grandchild--she is such a happy and sweet baby!

Daddy and Brooklyn and Averie.
See...these babies are so happy!!
We also had the Landry Thanksgiving at Walter's house.  I did not get a picture at all from there.  I forgot I even had the camera.  We had a good time of course.  Almost everyone was there--hopefully at Christmas everyone will be there!

All About Mia

Fun Facts about Mia:

She is almost 3--Jan 21

She is fully potty trained--even at night. Even with number 2!

She is Mrs. Independent..She wants to do everything on her own, she wants to play with big girl toys (the ones ages 5+), and she does not want your help--ever!

She is in preschool, 2 days a week, with other 2 yr olds. But she could totally survive the 3 yr old class. (She was with 3s for a week in Sept--the teacher said she did very well!)

She can count to ten in English and Spanish--physically count, not just memorized count!

She can name most shapes. And name most colors--sometimes...Colors is just not her strong subject ok?!

She weighs 29 1/2 lbs. I think she will be our "big" girl. She wears a size 7 shoe! Kayla just got out of 8!!

She says the cutest (mispronounced) words; munsturd (monster), Sebastinan (Sebastian), Auriel (Ariel), Sleeping Judy (Sleeping Beauty), babybug (ladybug), Blookyn (Brooklyn), parajitos (pajaritos in Spanish). And if you ask her what her mommy's name is, she'll say "Mrs. Ana" <3 She makes me smile :-)

And here she is...little Pat.
