Florida or Bust!

We made it to Florida! Finally! This will be a short post, but with many pictures. Our trip to Disney included a stop at Destin. It's a beach town that we had been told was a nice place to stop. And let me assure you, it was a really nice beach town to stop in. The sand was so white, Kayla thought it was snow. The water was so blue, it looked turquoise! And it was clear! But it was cold! Didn't matte, we were enjoying that cold water! Well, everyone did. Mia and I were in it for about 5 mins total and we got out! We only spent one full day there, but we'll be going back for sure! At night we had dinner at this cool restaurant, Pete's, and it was great. it was child friendly, the food selection was good, and they had face painting & balloon making to keep the kids happy. Plus, their drinks were awesome! We drove out of Destin the next morning and headed down to Orlando!
We got to Orlando around 7ish. We checked in and settled down. And we headed out to Downtown Disney. The girls loved all the stores & restaurants in downtown Disney. We went back to the hotel around 10:30 at night--worn out and ready for bed!
Ok, I'm going to just write a short description of our days there. Cause I've already waited too long to write this post! So here it goes!

Wed: We went to Magic Kingdom. It was packed. The day before Florida had this cold rain storm come through, so a lot of people had gotten rain checks for Wed. Who knew that would happen? We did a little of some stuff, but it took for ever. We were there from 10 a.m. until 10p.m. Yes, we were exhausted. but we spent most of our time in long lines waiting for autographs. The ride lines weren't so bad, since we did the Fast Pass.

Thurs: We did Magic Kingdom again. Then we went to Epcot. This park was MUCH more calmer than MK. We got tons of autographs there. Everything was more relaxed...although it was an extremely hot day! After we got some autographs, we went back to MK. We stayed there until 11:30 that night!

Fri: We did Downtown Disney again. We left there around 2 in the afternoon....and headed back home. We drove straight through!! We got back home Saturday morning. What a drive! We would totally do it again. Destin and Disney were both very worth it! Ok, here are some of the 600+ pictures that we took! Enjoy! Please be advised: I tried to put them in order, but we have pictures from 2 cameras, and the uploading feature was driving me bonkers, so I stopped trying to put them in order! Just remember, we only did 2 days in the parks!
