Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween 2009

"This year Halloween fell on a weekend...me and my pretty girls went trick-or-treating..."
The trick-or-treating ended early because the girls can only walk up and down so many houses. Even with them riding in the wagon, they get tired! This year, our friends and their girls joined us. Keith, Luisa and Baby Camila, came. And Ericka and Catelyn also came. To help out with the girls, Sylvia joined us too. So we had a pretty good group of us walking the neighborhood. None of the adults dressed up...maybe next year, I will get the guts to! But the girls went as....not too hard to guess...they went as Cinderella (Leanna) and Snow White (Kayla). Since Mia can't decide for herself, she went as a pumpkin! I got her costume at the new consignment store in Pearland, and paid $5.40 for it! What a bargain, and it is super cute!! Anyway, moving on...Catelyn was ladybug and Camila was a giraffe. They both looked ADORABLE! We tried getting 5 girls to take a picture together, but it didn't work out very well! We did manage to get a few pictures of them in separate groups or by themselves. I have to say, they are all cuties!!!
We walked around the block for about an hour before the girls got tired. The baby giraffe aka Baby Camila, passed out 30 minutes into it. She was so cute. Mia was awake and enjoying herself the entire time. Sylvia carried her for a little bit when she was bored of being in the stroller.
We all had such a good time. I enjoy trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Even though not all the houses had their porch lights on, a lot of the houses were passing out candy, and the people were extremely friendly. Some were watching the games on TV, so Keith and Pat were well-informed about scores, others had their yards super themed, and others had extra treats for the kids and adults! One house had candy, iced down juice boxes for the kids, and chilled JELLO shots for the adults!! Now, that is great service! It was great to be with good friends too! We all can't wait for next year, when all our babies will be walking! And I will try to dress up too! Haha!
