Our pretty girls ready to have fun!
We took the girls to the Houston Livestock & Rodeo again this week.. Uncle Walter & Aunt Debbie gave us 4 tickets to the Wednesday show. We used those tickets to get into the carnival...And again, it was so much fun! The girls wore their TX GIRL shirts that Pat got them from Kemah...and we got so many compliments on those shirts!We went to eat first. The food was amazing...and unhealthy, yet delicious! Then we went inside. We went to see the cows and the goats that were in the competitions/showings. We let them ride the ponies again. We walked around for a while. Then we went outside to the Kiddie Area. It was deserted! So we took advantage of being the only people in the Petting Zoo part. The girls love d it. They were the only girls in there. We got to pet a mini-horse and a "zonkey", which was super cute.

After the petting Zoo we went to the rides. Immediately after buying the Ride Pass, the girls wanted to ride a roller coaster. Leanna rode with Pat and Kayla rode with James. They were not scared at all, even though it went pretty fast! The they did a few more rides. I got on the Ferris wheel with both of them. At first I was nervous because we kept stopping at the top (the ride wasn't balanced well). But after they adjusted and moved people around, it was OK. After the Ferris wheel. Ms. Daredevil wanted to ride a 2 level roller coaster, by herself. And she enjoyed it so much. It was a small coaster, but it had dips and quick turns. But none of that phased her. She loved every minute of it. She even rode it twice. I can't believe how fast she's growing up! We did a few, more rides with both the girls before we headed out. They were so tired. Kayla was falling asleep on my shoulder as we walked around. So needless to say, when we got home, at almost 10 at night, they went straight to bed with no complaints!

I LOVE their shirts, too!! I think y'all had a much better time than we did at the rodeo. It was SO crowded on Fri.and actually pretty hot with all of the walking. My girls were not too hip with the rides either! I'll try to write on my blog and add my few pitiful pics!
